GARAGE BANDS

"A photographic introspection at the very heart of the Garage punk scene, deep underground rock'n'roll.

Musicians possessed by the sound of vinyl records and inhabited by the howls of their FUZZ, they are the true guerrillas of an abrupt Rock'n'Roll which draws its influences mainly from the 60's.

For many of them, it is an authentic way of life. Compose, rehearse, find a label - or not! -, record records and go on tour.

True "Home made" defenders, they also produce a highly specialized music style that is almost resolutely dedicated to remain "Underground". No "Rock star" pictures performing in stadiums in this series but sweat, tinnitus and a photographic glimpse of one of the many occult sides of the History of Popular music. A story made up of fleeting "Garage bands", whose existence continues after their dissolution thanks to the rare LP records, but also, thanks to the testimony of photographs. This series is also part of this approach.
